  10. There is a web page entitled LEARN C/C++ Today which covers this 
  11. topic in detail. try your local web search engine. As far as 
  12. first time books go, Stephen Kochans book "Programming in ANSI C"
  13. is as good as any. 
  14. I would also reccomend picking up a copy of The C Programming 
  15. Langauge 2nd Edition by Kernigan and Ritchie
  16. It is the C bible for every programmer I know in industry as 
  17. well as in academics.
